New to trucks
Hello! Great site. Been reading lots of posts on this forum and getting lots of usuful informaiton. Thanks guys and gals. I ran my vin number for my F350 on the tech. page. It says I have a Dana 70 rear end. I have read other posts that say that the 60 is the best. What is the difference? Just bigger brakes on the 70? I know bigger doesn't always mean better. Also that the axel is 3.73, is this the gear ratio or do I have to try and find that tag underneath? I just bought this truck and I find FTE is the place to be for all my newbie quesitons. I'm working on the smog now. But I have lots of plans for this truck. Check out my other post, 4/9/02. Propane/smog, and thanks again!
