And, as Jeff mentioned, the rebates stay with your area of residence, not where you took delivery. If you follow this link you can see what rebates are in your area.

My info on the other thread was national rebates. I did a request for my zip and lo and behold, as you said, it was different. A Reg cab in my zip(Tallahassee) showed 2500 and 1000 bonus cash. My son will like that.

They're on the "Z" plan- same as A plan. I don't know if there's a pat answer to that- the number's identified on every invoice, but the discount varies by model and the amount of optional equipment.

How exactly do those plans work? Do you just need to give the dealer the special code, and you get the pricing? Do those plans negate any rebates that Ford offers?

x-plan workings

X-plan is a bit higher in price then A-plan. A-plan is for employees and their direct relatives (basically: spouce, parents, kids, domestic partner), x-plan is for anyone that the ford employee wants to give a pin number to. However, the Ford employee only gets 4 pin numbers a year. There is not suppose to be any dealing or negotiating of the price, except for "extras" like ESPs, undercoating, etc. The price is set by Ford and is printing on the invoice when the plan pin number is entered and Ford tracks it to make sure that is what the dealers are charging. I took delivery of a 06 4x4 PSD CC SB F350 Lariat about two weeks ago. Since our dealer did not have any short beds or the other specific options we wanted the truck was order directly from the factory on 9-14-05. We were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks but it was only about 5 as we picked up the truck on 10-20-06. Order invoice showed A-plan, D-plan(dealer employee pricing), x-plan, as well as retail. Here is what the invoice said: (first column was listed as "retail" second as "DLR INV")

D-plan 43379.45
X-plan 45110.58

plus subtract what ever rebate is offered from Ford at time of delivery, which for us was 1500 when ordered but 2000 when delivered so we paid 43110.58 plus tax and license. We also traded in a 2004 EXPY so we didn't have to deal with selling it ourselves. Ultimately we wrote a check for ~17,800 the dealer gave us a certificate for the frst oil/filter change and a full tank of diesel (although we did pay ford for a third of it https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/n...e=1&p=3091833# )

Not a bad price for just walking in and saying "this is what I want" but.... had I found the FTE web site before ordering I would have bought it from Polar with his 500 below invoice offer.
