Power Window Switch
I have a 2002 Excursion XLT and the driver's window button no longer works. When I fiddle with it, it sometimes shows a little life but won't move the window more than a 1/4 inch one way or the other.
Is it likely that the problem is in the switch and not in the motor?
Can just that button be replaced or does the whole bank of switches have to be replaced?
I am thinking it is the switch because that switch seems to colect water or window washer fluid if run with the window open.
Your ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There's a used switch bank/plate assembly on E-Bay right now for $25+$10 shipping.
The driver's window may/may not be routed through a relay because of the "express down" feature. I would lean towards "not" because you're unable to jog it.
Snap the switch bank off the trim pad and short around the driver's window switch to check the motor operation.
The window switches are replaced as a set, $63.69 through powerstrokeshop.com
A new window motor is $74.89 through the same place.
