Spiders
Anybody else afraid of spiders? Damn, I'm itching now just thinking about 'em...I'm afraid, but fascinated. Post pics of the biggest ones you've seen, or keeps as pets.

I don't like ANY of them. They freak me out...I think I was bit as a small child. Last summer (the thread is in here somewhere) I had an INFESTATION of little brownish spiders. They were slowly growing larger as I spotted them too. I finally bombed my car, set traps up, and even kept a can of Raid underneath of my seat. It was terrible. I'd be leaning on the window or something, and I'd look and one would be crawling right next to my face and I'd freak out. It's a miracle I didn't end up in a ditch somewhere.

I don't have a phobia of spiders, but the biggest I've seen is in West Texas I held a wild taranchela, that was groovy sry I don't have a picture.
A buddy and I were cleaning out our g'mas shed and killed 4-5 dozen brown recluses, some as big as a half doller. I got bit by one that time.

I love SPIDERS
Now after saying that. I am not going to have a pet spider. I dont want them in my house but out side not in the walk ways. I love them. I will actually try and not kill them if they are in the way. I try to move them.
Here is why,
I hate bugs, june bugs and mosquitos the most but I hate them. They are anoying get in your food, or just plain crash into you. Spiders eat em.
So I like the spiders. I live in rural Kansas, so we get some pretty big ones mostly wolf spiders whick I have seen up to 4 iches. and now I am starting to see these black and yellow ones around and they are getting to like 3 inch. pretty good sized, as long as they stay out in the wrecked cars and in the pasture they will be just fine.
P.S. My mother got bitten by a brown recluse and didnt go to the doctor for a few days. It looked like some one just poored acid into a hole on her arm. That was pretty nasty

Yup im a wimp when it comes to spiders, hate them especially the
ones in colorado (wolf spiders) that will chase you, and the big ol'
ones in western wash that just hang in there web waiting for you
to walk through them eeeeeeew, they suck.

bugs suck!! i don't care if they have 6 or 8 legs. they have more legs than me. bugs need to die. period. there is no reason a bug needs to be alive, espically cause im a ***** about them

If there were no such thing as insects I'd kill every spider I see - they'd be the nuisance then. As it is now I won't kill a single spider I see in my house - unless it's a widow or recluse (both of which I can easily identify right on site. Anything else gets left alone to prey upon other would be intruders - especially those friggen flying cockroaches we get seasonally around here.
