Rear axle codes
A friend of mine picked up a 90 f150 lariat, truck is wicked shape but just wondering what the rear ratio is, the code is 19 on the sticker, we checked the manaul and could'nt find anything that decodes the numbers on the manufacter sticker. Can you help fellas?

Sure--it's the same thing as my old truck, a '90 F150 xlt lariat w/302 and AOD. Code 19 is a 3.55 open differential.
I thought it was in the original owners manual, but I could be wrong. Maybe I saw it in the Haynes.
