Three years ago I bought my 57 F350 272 V8 4 speed at a farm auction by Perdue, near Can-Dom Motors where it was probably bought new in 57. Sweet old truck, stored inside most of it`s life if not all.
What`s new with you truckfarmingcanuk in Otario?
I have a rusty daily driver 59 shortbox 223 3 speed with pink rims. To go along with that truck i got a cab in better shape from a 58 F250. Next winter i will start on the cab.
laynrubber, it`s a nice daily driver 59 shortbox. Great to see it last summer. Hope to see you and your truck this summer again.
How good is the 58 F250 cab? Don`t forget to post some updates as you go along with it.
I love the idea of having an old ford as a daily driver! If I find the right one I definatly would like to do that too, but throw me a 302 efi from a stang or something like that in it
Always room for more 7.3's!!!! I was at my buddy's place on Friday and we had a good chat about our 7.3's. His Dad has 2 '99's as well (both chipped too, I wish I had a chip...). Cool to have a few hardcore Ford guys around!!!
95PS, where ya from?
As soon as I find out more about it I will let you know, all I know is that it is cheap, early-mid nineties, needs front ball joints so the guy wants to sell it.
Mine needs atleast One ball joint and I'd never think of selling that cheap. Or at all actually. Well, maybe if I had a chance to get a 4x4 version of my truck, but other than that, no way! And $1500! She'll have a lot of miles, but the engine core is worth that at least!
We have at least one of every major body style of Fords 1938 till 1986 excluding 1951 till 1956. Me and dad also have quite a collection of Internationals and the odd Chevy.
