Positive to positive, negative to negative same as any other.
If you are trying to start the car, the reserve in both batteries on the truck will fire it right up.
If you are trying to jump the truck with a car, after you hook the jumper cables up wait for several minutes before you try to start the truck. That will give it some time to build the batteries back up in the truck.

It is also recomended to use the pass side batt,i believe it has to do with a shorter run to the starter from the batt.

Jumping

You will also need some good quality jumper cables (The 8 gauge from Wall Mart most likely will get pretty hot and may not do the trick)

Also the battery on a Toyota Corolla probably will not do the trick either. I have done it with the battery in my Ford Windstar which is 880 cranking amps.

Remember to always connect to the terminals on the dead battery first. The sparks when making the final connection between the batteries could cause the battery on your truck to explode as there may be a lot of hydrogen present around the discharged batteries on your truck.

Wear some safety glasses and save your eyes if anything should go wrong.
