Question coolant type ?
It is time to change the coolant in my 1998 Explorer,4.o sohc. In one place in the owners manual, it says DEXCOOL. Is this correct? The place that sells the coolant says that is wrong,and that I should use a regular extended life coolant,as,Prestone,Peak or any thing other than DEXCOOL.Please steer me right.

DEXCOOL is a GM product. Your '98 takes the regular green coolant.
