Cool How do I get rid of AOL instant messeger

This is making me crazy!!!

I just moved into a new place, and I guess the person who used to live here had this AOL instant messenger junk, because now whenever I'm online I am being bombarded by a bunch of stupid instant messages!!!

"I think I'll make chicken casserole tonight"

"Did Bob ask you out yet?"

"We have to work this Saturday"

LIKE I CARE!!!!

How do I get this out of my computer before I have to shoot someone!!!!

Sure, you could delete it, but aren't you missing out on a golden opportunity?

"Yeah, Bob asked me out, but when he showed up for our date he seemed a little drunk and I could swear he'd been wearing make-up. I'll probably still see him again, but I'm going to keep my eye on him. Especially if he starts talking about his pet chinchillas again. Once that guy gets going about those chinchillas it's hard to get a word in edgewise."

That's what I'd do, but maybe that's just me....

easydoesitmikey, curious on your story, also.

Hope you got your money back, or at least some of it back.

Yeah, whoever lived there before has nothing to do with your instant messages. If it's installed, then uninstall it. If not, then run some anti-spyware and anti-virus software.

I would also like to hear the story. Somehow I doubt it's as clear as "someone sent me an instant message and the money disappeared from my checking account"
