superchips question

Trying to get a feel for what has happened. I sent my old 1705 back to Superchips due to high EGT's and when it returned, I can hardly drive my truck. The throttle response is so quick that I feel like I'm going to jerk my driveline out. Nearly impossible to shift gears smoothly. The biggest problem is when towing my 12,500 lb 5th wheel, lots of jerking. The throttle is so touchy that when cruising and hit a bump in the road, I have to either accelerate hard or push the clutch in to keep from snapping something. On the positive side, the EGT's are very stable even during a hard pull. I guess my question is, is there any way to smooth the throttle response out so I can ease the clutch in or am I stuck with this problem. On the way home from camping I had to put truck back to stock to keep from tearing something up. Any help would be appreciated.

From: Rio Rico, AZ.
I have the same problem on any tune except the tow/haul on my Diablo Predator. With a stick shift the throttle is just too twitchy for good drivability.
I think that it can be resolved with a software update. We both have the latest on ours, so the next step is to contact the folks who make them.

That was one of the two reasons I set my truck back to stock. I was also using the old 1705 SCMT.
