Hello,
I've got an '96 Explorer XLT, V8. While I'm driving, I notice a bit of a bogging/hesitation when I step on the accelerator. Feels like a fuel flow interuption. I recently changed out the fuel pump. What could the problem be? Also I have noticed that my car takes a more cranks in the morning to fire it up, than compared to before. Thanks for any and all information.
Yes AlfredB1979, the check engine light is on. If I replace this, will it take care of the hesitaion? The fuel filter sounds like another culprit as well. I'll also check the air filter. How much does the fuel pressure regulator cost to replace? Is it easily accessible? Thanks.
