Ok...got some problems with the rebuilt tranny.

1. Wont shift unless you let off the gas(very slitly)
2. Wont downshift at slow speeds unless fully stopped.

Other wise it kicks ****, when it does shift the shift kit really pulls you into the seat.

Any body got any ideas on my 2 problems? Thanks

Sounds like a sticky governor to me. But, check the vacumn to the modulator but that wouldn't cause a no downshift.

I had the same symptoms and it was simply an adjustment issue with the vacuum modulator.
