This time its my king pins on my 78 2wd F250. I think they are wore because my pass outside tire is wearing middle -outside. No other signs, no shaking bouncing or anything just tire wear. told by a front end place its king pins. I called autozone and they said $40 for a king pin set.
I tried to change the pins when I changed front ends and put a socket on the inside of the grease zerk fitting and removed the botton zerk and pounded the crap with a 5lb sledge and about 1/16 " movement. Howe do I change kingpins in my 78 F250 2wd twin piston calipers?
