I have a 96 F-150 with the TTB front end and D44 rear end. Which would be a better offroad upgrade in terms of performance and cost, a rear locker or solid front axle swap?
i agree, i think i wouold prolly do the locker. however with that said you (i know i would) will prolly feel more adventurous and wanna hit more challeneging obstacles. this is where the SAS will prolly be desired.
now if you said SAS or lift kit then i would definietely vote for the solid axle up front, unless you are running desert then TTB is useless and will only cause more problems. plus the lift is cheaper and simpler to setup
