Vent window frame - size ????
I purchased a new SS vent window frame, pulled the old out, installed the glass and installed back in truck. Then noticed that there were gaps at the top and bottom. Drove this way for a few weeks till I hade the time to pull the new back out. Removed the glass, put the old and new frames side by side and found the new one is shorter, more angle to the shape. Called and sent pics to Mid Fitty. They say there new SS frame is the same as the original, sent me another one..(no charge-very nice of them) same problem......? JThey also said I must have the wrong vent window in my truck, that to me is really BS, I really think they have a product problem. Sending back there second frame they sent me. So I guess I'll get my old origial rechromed and put that back in then send them back the first frame thay sent me.......Has anyone else run into this problem??????? Bob
