code 1211 with programers and chips why??

why cant this be progamed out with a custom chip or programer. it seems almost everyone gets this code with the ses light. and im sure everyone pretty much hates this light comeing on, i know i hated it. so is it possible to have a custom chip burned that will keep the p1211 code from ever comeing on?

One of the ways that chips/programmers increase the power output is by increasing the oil pressure in the injectors. Some trucks don't lie that as much as others and set the 1211 code. It can be programmed out with custom tuning in most cases.

First thing you have to understand is that the factory AD injectors use ALOT of high pressure oil. You start adding fuel to the injector this will in turn require more HPOP to keep the pressure ratio's up.

I was setting my 1211 code in any tow program I had, didn't matter. The reason for it was because the duty cycle of the ICP was going out of the parameters set for the SES. Now when I raised the duty cycle, it took longer for the light to come on because I took it from a 62% duty cycle to a 98% duty cycle. This simply kept the light from coming on so quickly.

When I combined more fuel and more ICP then my light was on in the blink of an eye.

I thought perhaps my hpop was weak because I could drop it to 1900 psi at WOP without a load. I just put in a set of 230cc hybrid injectors, put the scanner on it and in the big hole, my ICP was at 3100 psi and never blinked! I love it!

And the power is totally amazing, now for the bigger lung and a some fuel system mods and a few tranny mods and the truck will be smokin (oopss already is doing that )

Great input twildman, thank you. I have questions......

Are you saying that ramping up the IPR cycle and switching to the big singles is what fixed your oil pressure, or did you go big oil?

Is it a difference in pump output that determines weather or not the 1211 is set. For instance, my truck has never set a 1211 but yours did. I know we don't have the same program, but Bill burned mine, Bill taught JT and Jt taught you, so I have to assume they are at least similar programs. At any rate...got any insight as to why two truck with the same program don't both throw th ecodes?

I went to the 230cc single shot hybrid injectors. These use the intensifier piston out of a b code 530 injector that requires less oil to fire the injector and still put out more fuel.

Bill trained Jody, and Jody trained me, however, Bill on his "standard" programing rarely changed fuel or icp tables, he made adjustments elsewhere. I see nothing to be gained by changing any of Bill's stock programs, because they perform so well, and none that I know of have the problem with SES lights on the superdutys. I, on the other hand, am more involved with the custom tuning on the bigger injectors, and in using these programs built for modded injectors, on stock trucks, while producing a much higher hp increase, comes with the added weakness of the hpop. If I kept the fueling tables down and the ICP tables backed off some then more than likely the SES wouldn't be so prominent. I however, like power, and most of my customers want the bigger gains, when they don't I use Bill's programs.

Love the injectors, beware of the noise.
