well i have a 89 f 150 with the 302 in it i have a manual when im at a stop light or sign it will stall i cleaned IAC and it still does it i cleaned it with carb cleaner what else can be wrong?and i have a new fuel filter for it but how do you re preasureize it once your all done?
To re-pressurize the fuel system, just turn the key to 'ON' a few times but don't start her. Let is sit on on for two seconds before turning it off and back on.
Just be sure to re-engage the impact switch (inertia switch) first.
Cheers,
Tim

The intertia switch, sometimes called the impact sensor, is a safety device that will kill the power to the fuel pump(s) in the event of a collision. Its a spring loaded breaker switch thats held closed by a magnect. A strong jar will bounce the switch off the magnet and break the circuit. the spring will keep it open until you press it back down.
In a 94 its in cab behind the passengerside kickpanel. Thats the plastic peice to the left of the passengers calf/leg, just under the dash and forward of the door. Theres a red button on top of it it, you pull it up to open the circuit (no power to pumps.)
To depressurize the system you start the truck with the inertia switch open and let it run until it dies (basically it runs out of gas).
Many people depressurize buy holding a rag around the Shrader valve on the fuel rail and pressing it in. Of course this is with the engine off and the cigs well out of reach

The stalling could your tps. these may not always throw a code when they go bad. I had the same problem on my 88 f-250. I talked to a mechanic friend, and that is the suggestion he had. Replaced the tps and the problem went away. good luck.
When your tps was going bad what were the symptoms?
