I love my new truck but... I noticed some oil spots on the drive way today. When I looked underneath I saw that it's dripping from the tranny bell housing. Looked under the hood and saw where that it has been lightly spraying oil from somewhere around the oil filter. There is oil on the under side of the hood, puddles of oil on the top of the oil filter cap and just oil around the general area of the filter.
I looked around and couldn't see much since there isn't much room in there. It isn't a very heavy spray (yet). The underside of the hood has oil on it right above the filter but it's not excessive (yet).
What could be causing it to spray in this area? I checked the filter cap and it's tight. Going into Ford on Tue but I would like to have an idea of what to expect.
Any ideas are appreciated!!!

Check the blue hose that comes off the turbo on the right side I believe its called the CAC tube. Run your hand under the blue tube at the turbo outlet and see if there is oil there. Mine was leaking there and running down the back of engine to bellhousing. This hose is under pressure and if the clamps are not tight oil will spray. They replaced mine, of course the service writer said they all do it but it is not normal.
Check the CAC tube boot at the turbo leaking oil. Mine was leaking and running down the back of the engine to bell housing. Took to dealer and they replaced it. The service writer said it was normal but it is not this hose should leak or blow oil.
Thanks for the ideas. I got in there and looked around and I don't think that the CAC tube is the problem but what do I know? I will have Ford look at it and see what they come up with.
