I have a 2003 F250 crew sb with a procomp lift its a 6 inch but the back sits slightly lower than the front i do not want to put spring paks in the back i really just dont have the money does anybody have any suggestions on what i can do to solve my problem i tried to order blocks for the back they dont make a true 6 inch block
Did you install the kit? I just installed pro comps 6.5" kit on my 2003 crew cab diesel. It raised the front 8 inches! The rear sits about 1.5" higher than the front which looks perfect. In my instructions it said to remove the lower overload spring from your original factory rear springs and install that leaf in the new spring. Was that done? It also said to remove the 1/2" spacer in the front springs if you do not have a diesel engine. That spacer in the bottom of the spring is for the extra heavy diesel engine. What size block did your truck come with from the factory? Some came with a 2" block and some had a 4" block. If it came with the 2" block then the 2" block supplied with the kit needs to be installed along with the factory 2" block to have 4".
A 6" block is the last thing you want and when you get on the throttle a few times and axle wrap destroys your stock springs you'll be buying a set of new leaf springs anyway. 4" blocks is really pushing it in terms of axle wrap and stacked blocks have a tendancy to separate and pop out. Spend the money to get the right springs.
I have a ?, I just put a leveling kit on my 05', the rear now sits 3/4" lower than the front. What could I do to bring the rear up? Would a 3" space block be ok, or would spring compressers work, or should I add more springs to the rear?
