Traction-Lok better than open diff?

I have a '90 Ranger 4x4 with open 7.5" Ford rearend. There aren't many options for the 7.5" Ford, but a Traction-Lok has to be better than an open diff? No options for the front Dana 28 either, correct?

That' right a trac lock would be better than a open diff. It's a limited slip that give power to both wheels in a %60 %40 lock when a certain amount of torque or slipage happens.
