VDO Gauge
Hi all,
I had a VDO tach laying around the house so I put it in my truck.
Tach has 4 wires, Blue, white, red, green.
Blue and white are thicker wires. Assume the red and green are ground and illimination. Anyone know what the other wires are and where they hook up?
Truck is a 78 s/bed w/a 351W/4BBL

VDO Gauge
seems to me like most tachs green wire goes to the coil. Black wire is a ground. Blue is the light, and white goes to a switched power source. I could be wrong, and if anyone else has any ideas please correct me.
