Brake whirring
I recently had my front brake pads replaced at my local mechanic and ever since then they have made a "whirring" sound when braking. Normal braking conditions act like usual, no shaking or sounds. But when under a little more pressure, they sound like an engine winding down gears...high rpm's=faster higher pitch and gets lower as i slow. Could this just be the type of pads used, did they not machine the rotors? It doesn't happen very frequently becuase I manage to avoid most hard brakes, but i don't want to be forced to stop abruptly and have them fail on me.
