Will the knuckle from a TTB 50 bolt up to a TTB44? Years in question are an 88 F250HD, and a '90 bronco. Eyeballing them with a tape measure almost makes me think there is hope?? Anyone try this?
that's a difficult question to answer. Try calling a Dana Spicer dealer and ask them if the knuckle is the same part # on both axles. Ford parts department may also be able to help. I'm sure you can't order the actual knuckles from ford, but they should be able to pull up the part #'s.
My gut feeling is no. Simply because I know the the spindle on the dana 50 is the same as the spindle on the dana 60. (on my application it was anyway) It seems highly unlikely that the parts on the 1/2 ton axle work on the one ton axle. Only way to know for sure is call eithe of the above listed. Good luck.
teh TTB stuff is different than the solid axle stuff. THe guys at ford will be of no help. Yeah shure they can pull part numbers, but they cant tell you iif the stuff will interchange. "Somebody" out there has tried swapping this stuff around, where are you??
