pulling with a C4 trans
Just bought a 76 ford f100 short box. Has 351C installed and a C4 3 speed auto trans. Can I pull a tandem car hauler with a standard size vehicle on it? What about add a oil cooler? Any other sug's? I would like to pull the trlr Thanks

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 28-Apr-02 AT 08:51 AM (EST)]When you say oil cooler i asume you mean trans cooler definatly install one if you plan on pulling the trailer all the time heck it's a good idea to have one anyway. I have a 79 F100 s/b w/302/C5OD and i have pulled my share of cars with it among other things and hav'nt had any problems.I was once told that as long as the trailer is balanced well you should have no problems pulling it although i will admit pulling two cars is something i hav'nt tried with mine.
