The breakdown of your door tag is as follows:
E is Econoline series, 10 is 1/2 ton pickup, S is144c.i. 6 cyl74hp net, H is Lorain assy plant. 171519 is an early May '61 build...its a 61 , not a 62...62 build begins in August with unit 205,001.
The rest of the tag is 090 is the wheelbase(90 inches) M is color...white...not sure if its wimboldon or corinthian...I think corinthian was used during this period, if I am incorrect others will make note..
E104 is Econoline 1/2 ton pickup, A is std Ford 3 spd trans., 01 is a 3.50 rear end ratio

Howdy, I was wondering if you could complete my Econoline mysteries info search also. The mod.# is E142, body# is389, transmission code is C and the axle code is 07. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks, bill in md.

jimbare is the one I was thinking about.
I just got a shop manual from motorhaven.com
Mine is for a 62 but they may have one for your model. It has all the codes and all the data to make repairs. GOOD BOOK
