2002 Explorer Problems once again
OK about 8 months ago Ford replaced my transmission(they say) in my 2002 Explorer for all the common problems these certain transmissions have. Everything had been going fine with it till about 2 weeks ago. The first thing that happen was I put the truck in reverse and when I put it in drive the transmission would jerk very hard, this is one of the problems I had before. Now this week when I go to put the truck in drive from reverse the whole truck stalls, when I get it to crank back up and put it into drive again it jerks very hard. I also noticed that there is a high pitched whine coming from what sounds like the tranny only when its in the first gear. Does anyone have any ideas what this is because im taking it in to Ford tomorrow so I want to get some ideas to what it might be before I go in. Thanks
