adjsutable draglink.....

I know these are available from modified aftermarket sources...but an alignment shop told me that trw or moog someone like that has recently released an adjustable draglink for 68-72 2wd f series.....can anybody confirm this.....maybe there's some front end or parts guys here....

zsir.....that's a new one on me. Years ago I cut two sets of I beams for a 69 CS to make the beams 2" longer each side so the 9.50 front tires had the same width as the 12.00 rear tires. Had to cut and weld longer tie rods, left became adjustable like the right. When done this had no ill effect on the Ackerman angle but the truck handled better. Bottom spring mount had a wedge added as well the top angled for spring alignment. Sorry off the topic.

if you are lowering your truck and haven't ordered parts yet, may I suggest getting the I-Beams for 73-79 and do your disk brake conversion. it will slightly widen your track on the front wheels, but you will also benifit from disk brakes and I think there is an adjustable draglink for this suspension already available from your local parts store, but don't quote me on that.
