Question Too Heavy?

I have a 2002 PSD, 4x4, CC. I was recently looking at putting on a front winch system complete with winch enclosed bumper. I talked to a couple of friends who own PSD 250s and they said because of the inherient braking problems of the truck being front heavy, the added weight to the front end would only magnify the problem. Are they correct in asuming this? Would a smart alternative be the removeable model offered by Warn?

My truck is 4,200#'s on the front axle and 3,200#'s on the rear axle (with a truck box and me not in it). I don't know how much the winch and bumper will add, but with that much rolling weight, I can't imagine adding a hundred pounds to the front would make any difference at all. Now if you are auto crossing the truck (not) then I would suggest adding it to the back for balance.

I have a winch on mine and the whole assembly is pretty heavy. No braking problems. Here's a picture if you are interested.
