Spare tire locaton

Since it appears that I cannot search the archives (I keep getting a "page not available" message), where is the spare tire mount located in a 1965 Econoline service van? Mine does not have a spare or the jack and I cannot find where one would have been - one of the previous owners put some crappy paneling in and I am wonder if the spare mount was removed/covered up.

Thanks

The spare tire mount is located on the back right hand side of the van. Above the wheel well more to the rear. The spare would fit between the wheel well and the back corner of the van. It is a metal plate with a slotted grove or a bolt that is flopping down from the plate. The bolt is for holding the spare in place with a wing nut setup.
If it is paneled up inside, then it is most likely covered over. When the spare is mounted, it would stick into your cargo area.
