Transmission code
My 1979 bronco has a 351. In the door placard the transmission code is "G". In a manual I have this only indicates it is an automatic transmission (which I could figure out on my own). Is the stock automatic transmission a C-6 or a C-4. If I need to look for the transmission code plate were do I look? I believ it is a C-6 but want to verify it. Any help would be nice
