2001 4.2 ??
I was wondering about the intake gasket and timing cover leaks on the 4.2. I just picked up a clean 2001 supercab for a work truck. It has 84000 miles and runs great. My question is will i have the same problems with the 2001 4.2 as some have had with the early 4.2s? I really like driving this truck and hope it stays trouble free. Thanks in advance for any comments.

It appears the newer 4.2 motors are good until 150,000 miles or so before gaskets issues might crop up.
