boggers

what kind of mileage can i plan on getting out of set of 35 inch super swampe boggers

i plan on doing some highway driving but i am trying to justify the amount of money spent on them and how long they will actually last.

Boggers and mileage generally don't appear in the same sentence

Granted, vehicle weight and driving style come into play, but I'll just suggest you pray for 10k. Best of luck

"Man, I am getting crappy mileage out of these boggers"

??

when buying boggers the thought of mileage should be non-existent. they will disappear in no time at all if run on the road

also, make sure you have the axles/drivetrain to handle them. when they lock up they will have no remorse for a weak u-joint or sloppy driveshaft slip joint!

A sswamper (SSR i believe) radial will the best bet for mileage and wear is you are sticking within the interco tire line.

Why do Ground Hawgs show up on the Interco Site where you would expect only boggers?

Just came across it looking for tire sizes for my new ride:

That is flat out bizarre! Guess Denman sold that line Interco huh? Or maybe they were bought out all together? Denman hasn't been a real contender since the 80's.

maybe the ground hawgs will be a little closer to true size rather than 41's being "44's"

edit... just looked at that link again and they say OD on 44's is 43.8"... this is good news if it is true

edit 2: i thought they used to offer 44" radials? now its only up to 38" for radials, 44 for bias

I was hoping the same thing but those specs are all identical to what Denman has listed on their site which leads me to believe there's been no change made in the tires and they'll still be way undersized. If I could get Hawgs in a true 44" size I'd be tempted to get them for street tires so I don't wear all the tread off my Swampers.

Anyone now how well the bias groundhawgs are in the mudd? I heard they do pretty well for mileage on the street.

Not as well as a swamper, not even close to a bogger. They're a decent tire but really more for the street than anything.

Yeah, I have seen some Hawgs really carved up for mud drags but at that point they'd be useless for the street. Here's an example, look at the rear tires here:
