I have a 1978 F-250 and for the most part its fairly clean. Bought it with a few dents and I finishing up the work. Im looking for paint!! I dont know if what I have is the original color or not. If someone could direct me to a color code/chart that would be awesome. Also my truck is a jade green, Ive got pics in my gallery FORDZILLA.

Looks like Dark Jade Metallic to me. Same as my truck. Factory code "B". -Ed

 

Nice truck! Did you paint it yourself? If so what kind of paint did you use and where did you get it from? I basically need to repaint my front fender because when I bought it the guy had slid into a tree and Im finishing up the dent removal... thanks

Thanks! No, I did not paint it myself. I had a friend of mine paint it. He works at a body shop and has for nearly 30 years. He used PPG base coat / clear coat paint. They have a PPG paint system at the body shop that can mix any color under the sun. The shop is in Northville Mi. They do great work. -Ed
