Exclamation Anybody got a spare 57-65 dash?

Guys,

I'll be posting this wanted ad in the classifieds shortly, but since all the 57-60 guys hang out here -

Wanted – Dash from 57 to 65 Ford F100 –

Need to see picture of your dash to make a deal. Will pay by certified cheque, money order or paypal.

Must be cut out with a grinder cut off wheel, not torches.
Must be 56 – 57 inchs wide across the front.
Must be cut within one inch of windshield all the way around.

Extra holes on front face (the flat part) are o.k.

Want face plate that gauges go into (but condition not important).

Must have ash tray and glovebox door.

Prefer no speaker hole on top…..

Do NOT want gauges, wiring, switches, ***** or radio.

Thanks,

Toolebox1,

From looking in galleries of the entire range of 57 through 65, it appears the dash is the same, with most of the variance being in the face plate that the guages fit into. At the risk of offending some, the face plate seems to get less attrative as the trucks get newer....(I'll only be using the face plate as a template anyway.)

The dash is going into my 54. Being a darksider, I can't leave nothing alone. (i.e. my grille which was displayed in this forum ( and my gallery) about 8 mths ago) I wanted a wider spot of the guages and I believe the 57-65 dash has very attractive lines in several respects.

It appears I may have a dash lined up, but if anyone has one they want to get rid of, they should drop me a line in case this one falls through....

Regards,
