Flowmaster 40 vs 40 delta
I have a 77 F-150 4x4 400 and am going to put some dual exhaust on it. It seems to me like Flowmaster is the way to go for mufflers. What I wanted to know is if anybody has had both the original 40 series and the delta flow and if there is a huge difference. I would like a powerful sounding truck, but most importantly powerful truck. I don't really care so much for the interior resonating. But I would go with the originals if it is genuinely worth it. Please let me know what you think.

Get the 40 series flo's----just had aset put on my 77 250 hiboy and they are both hi-quality and great sound ----None of that "I got my Camel's in my T-shirt sleeve and my glasspacks on my rod " sound---they sound like a Harley on steriods!!!!!fd

Mine set me back $60 a piece through jegs. I love the sound of them. Makes you think muscle everytime you hear em. Expecially if you turn the idle down a lil and get the motor to lope some. 
1979 F150 Custom 2wd C4 302 painted ford blue, bored .040 over, flat top pistons with valve reliefs, Edelbrock Performer cam, carb, and intake, stock heads, MSD Ready-To-Run distributor, MSD Blaster 2 coil, Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner with K&N filter, Dynomax headers, dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers, 38 gallon fuel tank(how i can drive it further than around the block) 9" rear end with 2.75 gears and open diff.
