AC Compressor Clutch Question
'95 F150 6cyl
I am in the middle of changing the ac clutch on this truck. The bearing gave out and I just had the system charged and checked, so I didn't want to swap the entire compressor/clutch...so here I am in the middle of another mess.
I have removed the front plate and pulley, I am left with the piece with the electrical connection fixed to it. I can't seem to get this piece removed. It is either pressed on or there is a snap ring I can't find. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the directions are far from easy to discern and the hayes manual doesn't even discuss it.
Also, in case I wasn't able to make it through this installation in time, I bought the no/ac belt, I shouldn't have any problems with this as long as the pulley isn't on the compressor?
