updated gallery pics

with only 60+ posts spread out over a 3 year period, i guess i dont post on here too much, but that may change soon. lol

My 56 F100 truck project, which started in Nebraska with my Dad a few years ago, has made its way back to CT. We have been working together on it a lot lately.

I added 8 newer pictures to the existing ones in my gallery.

some of the specs are: 92 Mustang 5.0, T5 trans, 8.8 rear with 3.73 gears, 96 Mustang rear disc brakes. Fatman mustng II front crossmember, Granada 11" rotors, Chassis Engineering front disc brake adapters to use Ford calipers. shaved door handles, remote release, have 1 piece side glass and power windows, Mazda Rx7 metal sunroof grafted on (original roof was very dented) tilt column from 84 Capri......

still a lot of work to do!! but it is really starting to take shape. You guys and your trucks have helped to keep the fire going.

looks good so far, is that a battery behind the gas tank? I like that front sway bar too, is that modified or did it bolt in? Interesting either way. Thanks

It looks like you were able to lower the center hump with this engine/tranny - is that correct?

Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words!

The battery is in the stock location under the floor. what looks like a battery in that picture is a toolbox on the ground

The sway bar fit amazingly well. its from a 79 Mercury Colony park station wagon. Just an old parts car my Dad had out in the yard. The bar itself was not modified. The end links are fabricated and rod ends attach it to the lower control arms. I wont know until i drive it how well it works

the transmission hump and floor are all stock. the shifter comes out quite a bit rearward of the original. I am not sure how the shifter will fit with the seat, the handle may need to be bent forward before it comes up.
