Question

Charging System

at about 3200 rpm my Battery Charge light comes on and then goes off when the RPM falls below 3200. Any ideas on the cause and fix? No issues with starting, etc.

check the belt, make sure it's not slippping, if it's still good then Teh alt is going bad, also check the tensioner that it is still giving good tention. I searched the threads and other owners have had this problem and it turned upt to be the alt going bad. search for this thread. Charging light at High RPMs

Thanks, I will check the belt and tensioner. The dealer told me the belt can't slip as it is a serpentine belt. Don't know if that is true or not...but I will check and advise in the forum. Thanks again

These belts very rarely slip.
I'd bet that the alternator is on it's last legs.

The belts can slip although it is rare, normally the tentioner will be the problem. unless the belt gets glazed then it will slip.

Alternator's my suggestion. Double check the connections/terminals on the battery
