I view on other peoples' galleries by clicking on their usernames, but I rarely just go to the gallery section and search. I kind of disagree with the way galleries are managed, but I do like having somewhere to shove my pics, so I keep mum about it
I've noticed the same thing about the galleries. Most times I'll look for that critical info people forget to post with their questions: Model/year/engine. LOL
Someday I'll get around to creating one for mine, not a big priority right now.
I've noticed people here for awhile haven't created their galleries yet. I do like go_racing and click on usernames in a post to see the vehicles. That's what I did to see yours Rubiranch. That is one of the nicest trucks I have seen. Are you keeping it original? That one would be a keeper as is. Thanks for sharing it.
Rubiranch, I usually don't look at them, once you have seen 10,000 trucks, ya kinda got an idea what one looks like. 100% of them are front engine and rear wheel drive. All of the V8s have 4 spark plugs on each side, some with blue wires, some red, some yellow, and others plain light black. Some have chrome valve covers, the rest painted.
When they are in the gallery and not out here in front of God and everyone else, those that have the time, and want to see an extreemly well kept truck like yours, will go to take a look. The rest that come here to read the forums and not look at photos, don't have to.
I go to a couple of shows a year, look at a couple mags, and get my fill.
Keep the photos in the galleries, and the text out here, I say.
Rubiranch, I'm guilty of only looking at the 67's. I'll do better now lol Yours is a great find. Did you hurt yourself getting your billfold out to pay for it when you found it?
nice to see a camper special that actually hauls a camper. nice truck. and yes , i occasionally go to the galleries to check out the new stuff thats in there. you never know when someone is going to post a pick of something youve been trying to do or paint scheme or just a killer lookin truck.

Reason: add on
I enjoyed looking at the other trucks. There are some really nice ones in here.
Thanks for the compliments on my new truck, I lucked out big time. I have known the owners for a long time. I remeber when they bought it. I was told 5 years ago I would get the first chance to buy it, and five years later I got the phone call.
I am going to keep it stock except I may install a 428 CJ cam and a small 4-bbl carb. I am going to use it to tow our vintage travel trailer. I am getting ready to seal it up for winter and wait till spring to get it back out. Here in Utah they use tons of salt on the road and I want to keep this truck nice for years. I also have a 79 F-250 4x4 I bought brand new I drive in the winter.
I checked in here a year ago on what the value of the might be. I looked in collector blue books and searched everywhere I could to come up with a fair price.
I had to argue with the owners as they would only accept less than 1/2 what I offered. To them the camper had no value and it was just a nice old truck. They were happy to see me get it because they knew I would take care of, appreciate and enjoy the truck.
Very nice truck! I guess with dual tanks when you fill er up its like buying
it all over again, I know you will enjoy your new truck and one more time
very, very nice truck!
P.S If we ever get to where we are tired of looking at old Ford trucks, look
at some of our (hidden) galleries theres no telling what we might find! I don't
think I will ever get tired of seeing nice Ford trucks! Or Fords of all kinds!
