Rear leaf spring question.

I have a 74 F-250 4x4, it has a broken top leaf on the rear. Can I swap a rear leaf spring from an F-250 2WD?

As long as they are the same width and length, yes.

Your 4x4 most likely has 2.5" wide rear springs. Depending on the year of the 2wd, the springs may be 3" wide. I don't know about the 2wd because I've got a 73 that used to have 2.5" wide springs and I've had two 76 2wds that had 3" wide springs....so, thank Ford for being confusing. As for the spring length, they should be the same.

Check that centre bolt.

In addition to making sure the width and the eye-to-eye distances are the same, take a second to check the location of the centre bolt. It's not always in the exact centre of the spring like I would have imagined.
That'll save you the trouble of screwing around with leaves that "almost" fit, like I am.
