Fan cluch

Is it normal in this colder weather for the fan to be spinning very slow to the ponit were i can grab it and stop it with the engine turning. is this normal for these colder temps ? the cluch has restanice spinnging it by hand with the engine off, and very slight end play.

Depends on the amount of resistance. turn on the A/C and the clutch should engage completely with a warm engine

That is normal, but if it happens to engage while your fingers are in there your hand will not be pretty.
