Thumbs up 20 Questions

Don't know if anyone has tried this web site, but it's quite freaky and uncanny how it derives what your thinking by asking you some simple questions. Very cool:

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="90%" align=center><TBODY><TR><TD><BIG>20Q.net is an experiment in artificial intelligence. The program is very simple but its behavior is complex. Everything that it knows and all questions that it asks were entered by people playing this game. 20Q.net is a learning system; the more it is played, the smarter it gets. </BIG></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
http://www.20q.net/

Cheers and report whether or not it figured out what you were thinking.

But he tried.

I won after 30 questions thinking of a wall calander, than the darn thing tells me that it guessed it and I just contradicted myself. Like, it asked if it could be folded up easily and I said no and it said yes. Apparently, it never tried to fold a whole calander before.

I chose my truck, and it made me tell it what I chose after ~25 because it couldn’t get it.

I won with 30 questions too. I was thinking of an intake valve. Some of the questions are kinda hard to answer specifically.

Like, would it fit in an envelope. That depends on the size of the envelope.

I won a few times. It couldn't figure out "truck" but it guessed van, motorhome, and scooter.

Then, it couldn't figure out stadium, and beer as a liquid, (not in a fluid vessel.)

But it did figure out book shelf and Monopoly.

Edit: on that beer question, it asked if I could put it in an envelope. I figured, yeah, if the beer is frozen. So I answered yes.

Not that intelligent - beat it 6 times running - only argued on any point on one game - item was a crampon, it said:

<big>"</big> You won!

<big>You were thinking of a crampon.</big>
Does it have writing on it? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Does it have a hole in it? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Can you find it in a house? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Can liquids pass through it? You said Yes, I say No.
Can it be placed on your head? You said Probably, I say No.
Is it decorative? You said Sometimes, I say No."

Draw your own conclusions .........
