I have a 94 F150 w/302 and an AODE tranny. I'm looking for increased street performance. With all the home mods I've done, its quick, but not quick enough for me. I've got a decent paying job now so I can save up for some "real" goodies for my truck. I'm going a smart route at starting from the back to the front. I want to first put a performance shift kit in. I've done alot of reading and I'm pretty much set at getting a Transgo as I've heard they are the best and easiest to install kit out for the AODE.
So, what are your comments on the Transgo HD2 shift kit? I want to install it to the "race" specs. I like to drive hard.
I will be installing a higher stall torque converter and 3.73 gearing after the shift kit. Then its onto the engine(cam, ignition, air intake, heads, ect.).
