'97 SOHC Explorer, Do I have a Problem?
Hey All,
Lately I've been feeling a vibration under the hood. Then I noticed that it was hapening when the A/C compressor kicked in as it does on occasion.
I went under the hood and saw that a metal ring moves out from the clutch to engage the compressor. Must use centifugal force or something.
Anyway, i noticed that this metal ring is off center when engaged creating the vibration. Is this normal? Does this sound like it working properly? I wonder why I'm just starting to feel this now?
