Chrome Bumper
Been a while since I've posted. Might even be on the wrong forum. Where is a good place to get a new bumper for my 1995 F-150? It's an Eddie Bauer with the Chrome step bumper. I saw some on the net, but they don't seem to have the licence plate light openings ??? Someone backed into me and I now have a bent bumper. Any ideas?? Also any thoughts on an after market one that would look good. I really like the truck and want it to look good. Thanks !!!

If you are not on a budget, call the dealer, they can get you a replacement. But if you are like everyone else and want to save a few dollars, start calling salvage yards. Ford trucks are the most common vehicle in the united states, so finding parts in a yard is usually not too difficult. Or go to a local body shop and see waht they can get for you, they have access to suppliers that typically only sell to shops. I know at our shop, we have ordered quite a few parts for do-it-yourselfers. Lastly, look in the phone book for a Chromer in your area, many chrome shops will refinish stock bumpers. I recently purchased a newly rechromed front bumper for my F250 for $130 delivered, which was about $100 cheaper than the dealer.
