Speed density how does it work

What sensors are used for this system on a 89 351W? how does it work. my truck has no power and torque. the truck has new o2, coolant temp sensor, map, would the TPS or the MAT sensor cause this. The truck struggles up hills

You need to pull the codes from the computer. See what it says is wrong, then correct it. The ford fuel injection.com link will give you good detailed instructions about how to do it. You will probably need a test light or volt meter to do it. In 1989 it won't be a Duraspark system, it'll be a TFI system. The TFI module on the distributor could be bad, or going bad. It could be a failing fuel pump.
