Question Wild Wipers

My newly aquired 93 and 94 f-250 plow trucks both suffer the same symptoms. My wipers run continuosly in the delay modes so I started by changing the blinker/wiper control on the column. the 93 gained blinkers without suffering the loss of fuses so it fixed one problem. The wipers however still remain uncontrollable. I also find I can not shut them off after I press the washer button. I can hear a clicking behind the glove box is there a possible wiper control module in there somewhere? any suggestions as to the cause of this dilema would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

wiper control module is attached to a defroster duct by glovebox.

to access, remove glove box, manual says to disconnect battery, use flat screwdriver to remove w.c.m. from tabs on bracket.

I had that problem and it turned out to be a bad park switch on the wiper motor. Only cure was to replace the entire wiper motor.
