Dash Lights
This is an odd one. When I turn the park/headlamps on in my 97 E150, the instrument cluster lights don't come on (climate control lamps work fine) and the bright headlight indicator comes on. When I turn the headlamps on bright, the indicator goes out but still no dash lights. One other thing...With the seatbelt unbuckled the buzzer makes a strange sound and when buckled the buzzer goes of but the dash indicator has faint glow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

When electrical in a vehicle starts doing crazy things like that, it is usually a bad ground. I would pull the dash cluster, and check the plug and check the wires going from the plug. One of them is bolted to the sheetmetal under the dash. Sounds like the dash lights are trying to ground themselves through the seat belt circuit. That's why it is glowing dim.
