E40d lockup clutch acting retarded
The lockup converter isnt working correctly at all it locks in and out no matter what rpm or throttle condition.
I even tried running with the OD off to see what would happen and nothing changed a bit. at 55 mph it still did it.
My fluids were just changed about 2 months ago when I changed the filter out.
The transmission isnt running hot at all. The od light hasnt blinked in quite some time.
I checked my fipl and that fixed the light but that was weeks ago.
I double checked the fipl setting yesterday to see if it was off again but it is right on the money.
What could be causing this?

tach is OK
Everything else on the truck is working just as designed. The tach isnt even jumpy or anything. The speedo and antilock brake are also working correctly which is spooky for my truck.
The thing has me begging for a 5 speed. I feel a swap coming in my near future if this keeps up like it is.
