emmisions ?

i'm buying one and the owner that had it before the person i'm buying it from put an engine from a 1977 ford truck and i don't know if he put the emmisions equipment back on it, where i live we still have to get a truck that old tested for emmisions.

i have poped the hood but the only other truck i can compare it to is a 1973 f-250 but that has no emmisions stuff at all.i'm going out to look at it tomorrow night again.

try not to go at night . day light makes it easier to see not only under the hood but the condition of the rest of the rig.
